5-year-old killed, woman injured in Orlando crash



A 5-year-old is dead, and another person is in the hospital after a hit-and-run crash in Orlando.Police need the community’s help finding the driver who got away. The mom of a woman in the hospital said there were five people in the car including two other children.Police said the driver who hit them left the scene. The crash happened on Orange Blossom Trail near Lee and Ace Roads Saturday at around 9:51 p.m. Police have identified the 5-year-old who died as Aiyana McCoy. They have identified the 5-year-old who died as Aiyana McCoy.

McCoy’s mom said her daughter was a student at Orange Center Elementary School.

Parents received a voicemail from the school principal on Monday.
