The Kissimmee Police Department is investigating an accident that injured several children at a Halloween event Friday night.According to James Napier with the City of Kissimmee, six children were injured when an electric golf cart slipped into reverse and hit them before it could be stopped.The golf cart had been decorated for kids to take pictures with for the “Boo on Broadway” Halloween event in downtown Kissimmee. Napier said a child was on the golf cart at the time of the accident. The accident happened around 9:12 p.m. Friday.One child was flown to Arnold Palmer Hospital as a precautionary measure, but all children are expected to be fine.Napier said that no vehicle broke through the safety perimeter around the event and that this was an isolated incident.Kissimmee police traffic units are conducting the investigation into the accident.
