It’s a pleasant start to our Monday with temperatures in the 60s & 70s. Most of Central Florida is under clear conditions, but a few spots N&W of the city could see some fog. The fog will lift by late morning leading to sunny and warm conditions. Tomorrow will feature plenty of sunshine and warm conditions. Temperatures will once again reach the mid-80s under plenty of sunshine.Things will change starting Wednesday as a cold front swings through. Temperatures Wednesday afternoon will drop to the mid-70s. For some, this will be almost ten degrees below average. Thursday morning will be the coolest morning as temperatures dip into the upper 50s. Highs will reach the mid-70s again.Seasonable air is back in the forecast by the weekend, along with a few showers. TROPICS: There are two areas of interest in the tropics. An area of low pressure (Invest 96-L) near the central Bahamas is producing gale-force winds on its northeast side. However, the thunderstorm activity continues to remain disorganized. The storm’s chances of becoming a short-lived tropical storm are slowly decreasing. The NHC has a 30% chance of development in the next 2 & 7 days. The cold front that will arrive mid-week will help to keep this storm away from Central Florida and remain out to sea. Model guidance is agreeing on this as well. There is an area of disturbed weather in the eastern Caribbean Sea. This will move westward over the next several days. Conditions seem to be conducive for gradual development. A tropical depression could form later this week.
