Checkout this video:
Neil Cavuto is the host of Fox News’ “Your World with Neil Cavuto” and the network’s business news editor. He is one of the most recognizable personalities on Fox News, but he has been noticeably absent from the network in recent weeks.
Cavuto has been on medical leave since late February, and it is unclear when he will return to work. In his absence, a rotating cast of guest hosts has filled in for him on “Your World.”
The cause of Cavuto’s absence is unknown, but it is not believed to be related to the coronavirus pandemic. Fox News has not released any official statement on Cavuto’s status, and he has not made any public comments since going on leave.
This is not the first time that Cavuto has taken a extended break from Fox News. In 2017, he took a leave of absence to recover from surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his lung.

Fox News’ Reaction to Cavuto’s Leave
Fox News Channel host Neil Cavuto is taking some time off for what the network is calling a ” planned leave of absence.”
The longtime business journalist and commentator will be off the air for an unspecified amount of time, Fox News said Thursday.
Cavuto’s leave comes as he has been outspoken in recent months about his health issues, including disclosing last year that he had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
In a statement, Fox News said: “We hope Neil gets the rest he needs and look forward to having him back.”
Cavuto has been with Fox News since 1996 and is the network’s senior vice president for business news. He also hosts “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” which airs weekdays at 4 p.m. ET.
